Sr. SEO Lead

Role Description

We’re looking for a Senior SEO Strategist to partner closely with our Director of SEO Strategy and help drive results across a diverse portfolio of legal clients. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex SEO challenges, improving underperforming campaigns, and mentoring others. You’ll serve as a strategic resource for our SEO team while remaining hands-on with technical SEO, website migrations, and emerging search technologies.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with SEO Leads to develop and execute SEO strategies across multiple client accounts.
• Diagnose underperforming campaigns and provide clear, data-driven recommendations to improve rankings, traffic, and lead generation.
• Lead technical SEO initiatives, including website audits, site migrations, and post-launch performance analysis.
• Research, test, and implement new SEO strategies, tools, and methodologies, with a focus on AI and emerging search technologies.
• Develop and deliver SEO training materials and best practices for internal teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on content, paid media, and broader digital marketing initiatives.
• Monitor SEO performance, identify trends, and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Contribute to RR Digital’s thought leadership through newsletters, videos, podcasts, social media, and internal knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience managing SEO campaigns in a professional environment.
• Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page optimization, content strategy, local SEO, and website architecture.
• Experience using industry-standard SEO tools, including Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Trends, and Google Business Profile.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts or SEO projects simultaneously.
• Experience supporting or leading website migrations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Experience presenting SEO strategies and recommendations to clients or internal stakeholders.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Requirements

• Agency experience.
• Experience working with law firms or legal marketing clients.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior SEO professionals.
• Familiarity with E-E-A-T principles, AI Overviews, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and evolving AI search trends.
• Experience with WordPress.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
