Mark Niemiec DDS PC is a private, comprehensive dental practice located in the beautiful mountains of Northern New Mexico. We offer a wide range of services, including routine cleanings, advanced restorative treatments (crowns, implants, root canals), and cosmetic dentistry (Invisalign, veneers, whitening). Our philosophy centers on providing high-quality, personalized care in a comfortable environment, utilizing amenities like warm blankets and TVs to ensure patient relaxation. Dr. Niemiec and the team are dedicated to helping every patient achieve a healthy, confident smile.

Requirements

• Licensed dental hygienist
• X-ray / Radiography Certification

Licensure: Current, active, and unrestricted Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license.
Procedural Proficiency: Proven ability to perform scaling and root planing procedures effectively.
Certifications: Certification in the application of dental sealants and fluoride.
Technical Skills: Experience and proficiency using digital X-rays.
Clinical Knowledge: Strong knowledge base in periodontics, preventive care, clinical operations, and treatment planning.

Job Description

Preventive Care Delivery: Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, apply fluoride treatments, and administer dental sealants.
Periodontal Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough periodontal charting and assessments, and perform effective periodontal treatments, including scaling and root planing procedures and maintenance.
Patient Education: Educate patients on optimal oral hygiene practices, preventative care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
Anesthesia Administration: Safely and effectively administer local anesthesia as needed during procedures.
Imaging: Capture and process digital X-rays accurately.
Collaboration: Work closely with the clinical team to assist in clinical operations and contribute to patient treatment planning.

Work Structure: We operate on a convenient Four Day Work Week.
Days of Operation: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Typical Hours: Monday (8:00 AM–5:00 PM), Tuesday (8:00 AM–5:00 PM), Wednesday (8:00 AM–5:00 PM), Thursday (8:00 AM–4:00 PM).
Location: In-person at our Taos, NM office (1399 Weimer Rd Suite 800).
