Supplier Quality Engineer

$45 - $50 per hour

Supplier Quality Engineer (Change Controls)
Location: West Point, PA (hybrid)
Pay: $45-$50/hr
Duration: 12-month contract assignment with potential to extend or convert based on performance and budget.

Responsibilities

Execute supplier change notifications and coordinate the associated change management activities.
Assess the impact of supplier changes and communicate findings to customers and internal stakeholders.
Update site systems and documentation to reflect approved changes.
Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing areas, occasionally taking the lead on technical activities.
Anticipate and evaluate customer needs to identify and implement effective solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support departmental performance and project objectives.
Manage priorities, schedules, and deliverables with minimal supervision.
Provide status updates and reports as needed to ensure technical accuracy and timely completion of assigned work.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Materials Science required; an engineering degree is preferred.
Minimum of 1.5 years of change controls experience.
Strong technical writing and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with validation, deviations, and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA).
Experience with systems such as Veeva Vault and SAP.
