Staff Accountant – Corporate Accounting & Financial Reporting About the Opportunity A growing corporate accounting and financial reporting team is adding a Staff Accountant to support a broad range of corporate accounting, reporting, and analytical functions. This is a high-visibility role that offers exposure to senior leadership, external auditors, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and other corporate functions. The position is ideal for someone coming from public accounting/audit or a combination of public and corporate accounting who wants to gain broader exposure to financial reporting and complex corporate accounting. Why This Role Stands Out Join a growing Corporate Accounting & Financial Reporting team Work closely with the Manager of Financial Reporting Exposure to month-end close, financial reporting, acquisition accounting, and consolidated reporting Gain experience supporting reporting for a large, international organization Strong opportunity for professional development and increasing responsibility Hybrid schedule – 3 days in the office Key Responsibilities Support the monthly and quarterly close process for corporate accounting activities Prepare journal entries, account analyses, reconciliations, and supporting schedules Assist with preparation of internal financial reporting packages , including balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, and intercompany reporting Perform financial statement and flux/variance analysis , investigating significant changes and trends Support acquisition accounting and integration activities Assist with accounting related to insurance reserves and other complex corporate accounts Provide financial data and supporting documentation for external audits Prepare ad-hoc reporting, KPIs, estimates, commentary, and other management reporting Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 1+ year of accounting or audit experience Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial statements Experience with SAP or another major ERP system is a plus Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a team Ideal Background This could be a strong fit for someone currently working as a Staff Accountant, Senior Accountant, Audit Associate, Assurance Associate, or Financial Reporting Analyst who is looking to move into a broader corporate accounting and financial reporting role. #J-18808-Ljbffr Atlantic Group
