Staff Accountant

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our client’s growing accounting team. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional looking to build on their experience, take on additional responsibilities, and grow within an organization! Responsibilities: Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Prepare and review financial reports and account analyses Reconcile bank, balance sheet, and general ledger accounts Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed Research and resolve accounting discrepancies Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities Assist with audits and other accounting projects as needed Maintain accurate and organized financial records Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely accounting processes Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field REQUIRED 1+ year of professional accounting experience REQUIRED No more than 5 years of professional accounting experience Must have hands-on accounting experience — this is not an entry-level opportunity Strong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger processes Experience with account reconciliations and month-end close Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team Title: Staff Accountant Experience: 1–5 years Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Employment Type: Permanent This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
