This position requires the ability to gain a sound understanding of department subject matter including application support and training and general operational questions. This position will require collaboration among team members, branch office personnel and Stifel clients to provide a high level of customer service under direct supervision while following established procedures.What We're Looking ForAccurately provides phone support with a high level of customer service while adhering to departmental procedures and guidelinesProficiently provide support related to industry related questions, branch procedures and researches branch inquiries while acting as the company gatekeeper for Stifel informationIdentify potential problems or issues and escalate to department leadership if necessaryDevelop effective communication skills within the department and Stifel Branch PersonnelProvide timely updates on progression of job responsibilities to leadershipDemonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within a team and with other areas in the firmManage large amounts of incoming calls and keeping record of caller interactionsProvide the highest quality of customer service through written and verbal communicationsMaintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward callers at all timesWhat You'll BringStrong organizational skills with the ability to follow up on open tasksStrong communication skills including phone contact handling and active listeningAbility to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectivelyAbility to learn Stifel's applications, industry rules/regulations and Stifel policies that pertain to the department and Stifel's branchesWorking knowledge of financial services applications, systems, terminology and proceduresEducation & ExperienceMinimum Required: High School DiplomaPreferred: Bachelor's degree or relevant career experienceMinimum Required: 0-2 years' professional business related experienceLicenses & CredentialsMinimum Required: NoneSystems & TechnologyMicrosoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and ExcelInternet Browsers; including Microsoft Edge, Chrome, SafariThomson One, BETA & Salesforce knowledge is beneficial #LI-AS1About StifelStifel is more than 130 years old and still thinking like a start-up.
