THIS POSITION REQUIRES DAILY WORK IN THE WEST MONROE, LOUISIANA CORPORATE OFFICE. CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO COMMUTE DAILY OR WILLING TO RELOCATE. 

RELOCATION ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE FOR THIS POSITION.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day flow of all aspects of our business and carrying out the vision of the CEO. This position should be a direct reflection of the CEO’s vision and expectations, building and executing a business strategy that aligns with the vision, culture expectations, and growth strategies. This individual will have direct oversight to all functions of the business, including Operations, IT, Human Resources, and Project Management .

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

• Enforce accountability across all functions within the organization. 
• Oversee day-to-day business functions and strategy, including human resources, operations, IT, maintenance, safety, and sales.
• Oversee organizational planning, maintenance, and efficiency.
• Prepare and deliver operational reports and management reports.
• Establish KPI reporting and visibility across all departments.
• Identify and execute programs, software, automation, or other levels of optimization to improve organizational efficiencies. 
• Ensure compliance on a company, state and federal level.
• Drive sustainable growth and minimize losses.
• Lead outreach and business relations.
• Consistent review of budgets across the organization to ensure alignment.

WHAT WILL HELP YOU STAND OUT  

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction, or related field
• MBA or other Master’s degree preferred.
• Diverse business knowledge related to Information Technology, Human Resources, Sales, Safety, and Operations is required. 
• Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Superior Project Management skills and experience. 
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
• At least 15+ years’ experience leading a mid-size company in a high-level role.
• Prior successful experience in the utilities construction or manufacturing industry is highly preferred. 
• Project Management Professional or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is highly preferred.

WHAT TO EXPECT

• This job will be primarily office-based with exposure to normal office environments and noises.
• This position will require travel based on business initiatives, and locations may be across North America. 
• May be required to stand, sit, bend, twist, and reach as part of the job.
• Extended periods of standing on your feet may be required.
• May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, or other job-related pre-hire screenings related to the job.
• Travel up to 25% may be required.
