Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3x12 or 4x12 shifts | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit within a short-term acute care hospital setting
• Monitor and manage patients with telemetry needs, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:6–1:7, delivering safe and effective nursing care throughout the shift
• Float within scope to like units as needed to meet facility staffing needs
• Attend required staff meetings and complete all assigned onboarding modules prior to start date
• Participate in emergency response team assignments as required during hurricane season (June through November)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Must complete all assigned onboarding modules by the Thursday before the start date
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of initial submission; RTO submitted after will not be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Telemetry nursing experience
• Proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Experience charting in Epic
