# Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – West Virginia

Start Date: September 2026

Location: West Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, weekdays with every other weekend; no call, charge, or float responsibilities

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment in a community emergency department setting
• 9-bed emergency department with daily census of approximately 40 patients
• 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio providing quality focused care
• Cerner charting system for streamlined documentation
• Full interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, physical therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and interpretation services
• Blocked schedule requests may be considered if submitted with initial profile

Requirements:

• Active West Virginia RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required; 5 years of emergency department experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required (first-time travelers will not be considered)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Preferred certifications: CPI, MAB, NRP, TNCC
• Proficiency in IV starts, triage, and general emergency department skills
• Experience with all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR and trauma-level emergency care preferred
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Must reside outside 75-mile radius from assignment location
