Technical Support SpecialistRequired Skills & Experience 1+ years of experience in desktop support, technical support, IT support, systems support, or a related technology role, IT Asset Management demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility and technical experience in a Healthcare environment. Understanding of Active Directory. Experience troubleshooting Windows computers, applications, peripherals, and connectivity issues. 1–3 years of hands-on networking experience. Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, and network troubleshooting. Experience using ServiceNow ticketing system Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and customer-service skills. Ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate issues. Ability to work in hospital environments and travel between facilities as needed. Ability to learn and support specialized technology platforms.Job Description Provides technical support for the hospital's Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS) and related hardware, software and infrastructure. This position is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues while providing support to hospital staff and technology teams.Provide Tier 1/Tier 2 technical support for devices, and related infrastructure. Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and application issues. Install, configure, replace, and maintain RTLS tags and associated equipment. Perform basic troubleshooting of Windows servers, services, applications, and network connectivity. Monitor RTLS systems and respond to incidents and system alerts. Assist with troubleshooting Wi-Fi, network connectivity, DHCP, DNS, and TCP/IP related issues. Collect logs and technical information for escalation to senior engineers or vendors. Perform routine system and equipment health checks. Assist with RTLS site visits, deployments, testing, and system validation. Installation support for various software on end user systems and servers when required. New users onboarding preparing IT assets and tools. Manage the full lifecycle of IS/IT assets, including configuration, change management, deployment, tracking, and decommissioning of IT Assets Onboarding support, collecting IT assets and sanitizing IT assets and keep in stock. Maintain accurate technical documentation, equipment inventories, and support procedures. Create and update incidents, tasks, and knowledge documentation in ServiceNow. Work with other Infrastructure teams to resolve issues that cross technology boundaries. Provide technical support to hospital users and operational teams. Follow established change-management, incident-management, and security procedures. Participate in scheduled maintenance and occasional after-hours support as required. Configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting enterprise and personal desktop and laptop computers, personal productivity devices, and business applications. Supporting midrange servers. Supporting network devices such as switches, routers, Wireless Access Points with the help of backend team. Support enterprise wireless controllers, access points, SSIDs, RF profiles, and security policies. Collaborate with network, security, systems, and infrastructure teams to support wireless integrations, network upgrades, and technology deployments. Coordinate with installation crews replacing access points and cabling, and verify results. Exposure to enterprise wireless platforms such as Aruba, Cisco, or comparable, covering access points, controllers, and management systems Coordinate external vendors when engaged for support.
