IT Support SpecialistHouston, TX – Clear lake site – Work from Client locationKey ResponsibilitiesProvide desktop and laptop support to end users.Perform laptop migration activities and support users with all pre-migration and post-migration issues.Install, configure, and troubleshoot software applications.Provide access-related support for applications and servers.Assist users in configuring and using various business applications.Manage and support Active Directory (AD) related tasks, including user account administration and access management.Provide support for Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive.Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues.Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.Manage and troubleshoot user profiles on laptops and workstations.Ensure timely resolution of IT incidents and service requests while maintaining high customer satisfaction.Document issues, resolutions, and support activities in the ticketing system.Required SkillsStrong knowledge of Desktop Support and End-User Computing.Experience in Laptop Migration and User Data Migration.Hands-on experience with Active Directory (AD).Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive.Experience in software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.Knowledge of Windows operating systems and user profile management.Understanding of application access management and server access support.Strong communication and customer service skills.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently
