Bilingual Certified Maintenance Technician (Property Management)

Location: Houston, TX 77091

Schedule: Monday through Friday

Pay: $22-23 per hour

We are a growing property management company committed to providing exceptional living experiences for our residents. We are seeking a Bilingual Certified Maintenance Technician who is reliable, customer-focused, and experienced in apartment maintenance operations.

Position Summary

The Bilingual Certified Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the community through preventative maintenance, service requests, and repairs. The ideal candidate is certified, experienced in multifamily housing maintenance, and fluent in both English and Spanish .

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform general maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs including:
  • HVAC systems
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical
  • Appliance repair
  • Carpentry
  • Painting and drywall
• Conduct preventive maintenance and property inspections.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents (make-readies).
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Assist with after-hours emergency maintenance calls as needed.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and team members.

QualificationsRequired

• Bilingual in English and Spanish .
• Property management or apartment maintenance experience.
• EPA Certification (Universal or Type I & II).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

• HVAC Certification.
• CPO (Certified Pool Operator) Certification.
• CAMT (Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician) Certification.
• Experience with multifamily housing communities.
