Overtime: Time and a Half for Hours Worked Over 40 per Week

Role Overview

BEPC Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Material Handler to support our client's warehouse and manufacturing operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for handling, transporting, tracking, and maintaining materials to ensure efficient production and inventory operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, material handling equipment, and computerized inventory systems such as SAP.

Key Responsibilities

Material Handling & Distribution: Pick, pull, and distribute materials from warehouse inventory using pick lists and radio-frequency (RF) scanning devices.
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking part numbers, lot numbers, quantities, and storage locations.
Warehouse Equipment Operation: Transport production and non-production materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other appropriate material-handling equipment.
SAP Inventory Transactions: Perform SAP transactions to accurately track material movement, inventory status, and warehouse activities.
Cycle Counting: Conduct weekly cycle counts, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and maintain accurate stock levels.
Receiving & Inspection: Inspect incoming shipments for damage and verify quantities against packing slips, invoices, and freight documentation.
Material Replenishment: Replenish production consumption bins and ensure materials are available to support manufacturing schedules.
Inventory Scanning: Utilize barcode scanners and RF devices to process material pick lists and maintain accurate inventory records.
Vendor Coordination: Assist with material requests and follow up with vendors or purchasing teams regarding material availability.
Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following company policies and procedures.
Daily Task Management: Prioritize material requests and warehouse activities to meet production demands and operational deadlines.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

Experience or familiarity with warehouse operations, material handling, inventory management, or manufacturing environments.
Ability to accurately pick, count, track, and reconcile inventory.
Familiarity with barcode scanners, RF devices, or computerized inventory systems.
Ability to operate or learn to operate material-handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
Strong attention to detail when verifying part numbers, lot numbers, quantities, and inventory locations.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and established warehouse procedures.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and collaborate effectively with team members.
Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience using SAP for inventory management and material transactions.
Previous experience performing cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
Familiarity with warehouse receiving, shipping, and material distribution processes.
Experience using forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanning equipment.
Previous experience supporting manufacturing or production material requirements.

Contract Duration: 12 Months

End Date: 12 Months from Start Date

Employment Classification: W2, Non-Exempt
Pay Rate: $21.16 – $23.16 per hour
Overtime Pay: 1.5 times the regular hourly rate for hours worked over 40 in a workweek.
Employment Arrangement: W2 Only – No C2C
