Start Date: August 10, 2026

Location: Alexandria, Louisiana

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), 36 or 48 hours per week guarantee available. Every other weekend required. Overtime compensated after 48 hours. No on-call requirement.

Highlights:

• Cardiac-focused unit treating patients with MI, CHF, arrhythmias, PVD, and medical-surgical overflow
• Manage cardiac drips and assist with cardiac procedures
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1 depending on staffing levels
• Floating required as needed to support hospital operations
• Two positions available with potential for temp-to-perm opportunities
• Supportive onboarding with preceptorship and competency validation program

Requirements:

• Active RN License in Louisiana or compact state
• BLS certification from AHA required
• ACLS certification from AHA required
• Minimum of one year experience in related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• Completion of New Nurse Orientation and unit-specific competency validations
