Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced PCU RN to provide high-quality care to patients requiring close monitoring and an elevated level of nursing care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients with complex medical conditions
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies
• Manage and monitor patients requiring telemetry
• Recognize changes in patient status and respond appropriately
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
• Provide patient and family education
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Follow hospital safety, infection-control, and patient-care standards

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• Recent PCU/Progressive Care or Step-Down experience
• Experience caring for telemetry and moderately acute patients
• Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Previous acute-care hospital experience preferred
