Business Developer — Commercial Landscape Maintenance About the Role Are you a natural hunter who thrives on closing new business? As a Business Developer , you will drive the client’s market growth by identifying, prospecting, and securing new multi-year commercial landscape maintenance contracts. This is a pure outbound sales role with an aggressive commission structure, designed for a high-energy sales professional who loves the thrill of building a pipeline from scratch and winning major B2B accounts. What You’ll Do New Logo Acquisition: Execute a disciplined sales strategy focused on heavy prospecting, cold calling, networking, and digital outreach to target commercial properties. Consultative B2B Sales: Meet with prospective clients, conduct initial property site walks, diagnose the pain points of their current vendor, and design custom maintenance solutions. RFP & Contract Negotiation: Lead the bidding process, draft comprehensive proposals and deliver high-impact presentations to mid-to-senior level decision-makers (developers, asset managers, corporate facility heads). Seamless Handoff: Meet monthly activity and closed-revenue benchmarks, safely transitioning newly signed accounts over to our Account Management team. What We Are Looking For Experience: 3–5 years of proven success in a B2B outbound “hunter” sales role (e.g., commercial facilities services, waste management, pest control, uniform services, or payroll). Landscape experience is not required—we will teach you the industry if you have the sales DNA! Mindset: Highly competitive, self-motivated, and resilient with a track record of meeting or exceeding aggressive sales quotas.
