Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:
- Current licensure or eligibility as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired
- Experience providing specialized instruction and support for visually impaired students, preferably in a K-12 school setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff
- Proficiency in Braille and use of adaptive technology preferred
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Compassion, flexibility, and creative problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small group instruction to meet students' specific needs
- Adapt curriculum materials and classroom environments for accessibility
- Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers
- Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress
- Communicate regularly with families and advocate for student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and other multidisciplinary team activities
