Job Duties and Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Perform general repairs of the facilities and mechanical equipment to ensure proper operation and condition Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections to onsite facilities equipment Complete daily assigned tasks and provide an update to the Facilities Manager Provide maintenance support to all on site departments to include projects and installations Assist in office furniture reconfigurations, furniture moves, and office moves as requested Ability to provide occasional on call support to facility during emergencies Address and complete daily work orders Seasonal snow removal Provide support during on and off site events, set up and tear down Assist onsite contractors when necessary Other duties as assigned Skills, Experience and Requirements Education and Experience: Possess a current and valid driver license Experience with operating heavy equipment such as a forklift, scissor lift, and boom lifts etc. Skills and Qualifications: Strong knowledge of safe work practices and procedures typical for maintenance operations Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to work successfully within a team environment Ability to operate a motor vehicle Ability to utilize hand tools Ability to utilize power tools Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Maintain a professional demeanor at all times Time management skills Basic computer skills using software such as MS Office and/or Google Suite Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds Will be able to work in all-weather environments, indoors, and outdoors Will be able to sit, stand, crawl, and climb ladders for extended periods Visa sponsorship not available for this role Salary Ranges Compensation: $15.91/Hour - $22.74/Hour Benefits We offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: EchoStar Benefits. The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
