Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical capabilities, including movement, strength, and range of motion, specifically focusing on orthopedic conditions.
• Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation plans tailored to each patient's individual goals, medical history, and physical abilities.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based treatment methodologies, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and neuromuscular re-education techniques, to enhance recovery processes.
• Educate patients about their conditions, outlining expected recovery timelines, and provide detailed home exercise programs to encourage ongoing rehabilitation efforts.
• Monitor patient progress, update treatment plans as needed, and document interventions and outcomes accurately to meet compliance standards and insurance requirements.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to offer integrated care and ensure best practices in rehabilitation and patient outcomes.
• Continuously engage in professional development by attending workshops and training sessions to stay abreast of the latest advancements in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. You will be instrumental in helping individuals regain their mobility and functionality, ultimately improving their overall quality of life. Our diverse patient population includes athletes, elderly individuals, and others requiring specialized rehabilitation, making every day unique and impactful.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.
• Current and valid California Physical Therapy License or proof of eligibility to obtain licensure.
• At least 2 years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, demonstrating proficiency in manual therapy and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building relationships with patients and their families.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation practices.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Experience

• Certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in post-operative orthopedic rehabilitation, including familiarity with techniques such as dry needling.
• Experience with technological health tools and automated patient management systems is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $125,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and continuing education reimbursement.
