Key Responsibilities\n

• Consult with prenatal care team members including physicians, midwives, doulas, and lactation educators to ensure integrated care that addresses the comprehensive needs of our clients.

• Co-facilitate childbirth education and postpartum peer support groups, elevating the experiences of birthing individuals through collaborative learning with birth workers.
\n
• Engage in community outreach initiatives aimed at promoting holistic wellness and creating supportive networks among birthing families.
\n
• Participate in clinical consultations and interdisciplinary co-learning spaces to enhance personal clinical practice and contribute to the professional growth of the team.
\n
• Complete all required clinical documentation accurately and on time, maintaining the integrity of client records and ensuring compliance with state regulations.
\n
• Conduct direct services which encompass behavioral health assessments, individual counseling sessions, and effective case management tailored to the needs of our client base.

• Be open to perform other related duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility in fulfilling the organization's needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve Black birthing families, offering culturally-sensitive support and guidance throughout their mental health journey. Your work will directly impact the lives of families during critical life transitions, thereby fulfilling the organization's mission to advocate for underserved communities.

Qualifications\n

• Candidates must be licensed as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC, holding a master’s degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited institution.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are essential; you must demonstrate the ability to interact professionally within a multidisciplinary team and with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• A proactive approach to problem-solving is necessary; candidates should be able to work efficiently while recognizing when assistance is needed.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with birthing individuals and families, especially within diverse cultural contexts.

• Familiarity with community health resources, prenatal and postnatal care principles, and integrative care models.
