• Weekly Estimated Pay: $8,860-$9,340
• Location: East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania (18301), a scenic Pocono-area community with convenient access to outdoor recreation and everyday amenities
• Start Date: 7/13/2026
• Assignment Length: 52 weeks
• Schedule: 32 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 16-hour day shifts
• Additional Shift Information: 8- or 10-hour shifts may be available based on scheduling needs
• Case Types: Cardiac anesthesia, general surgery, neuro, orthopedic, and OB
• Charting System: Epic
• Team Structure: Physicians supervise CRNAs and may also perform their own cases
• Call: Weeknight and weekend pager call required
• Openings: 2

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of anesthesiology experience required
• M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an approved anesthesiology residency
• Board certification or fellowship required
• Current Pennsylvania physician license required
• Cardiac anesthesia experience required
• Ability to obtain hospital privileges within the expected timeframe
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for a broad range of surgical and procedural cases
• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans
• Obtain and verify patient consent and discuss anesthetic options and risks
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitor patients’ physiological status throughout procedures and recovery as appropriate
• Perform clinical interventions as needed to support patient safety and positive outcomes
• Collaborate with surgeons, CRNAs, nursing staff, and perioperative teams to ensure efficient patient care
• Support departmental clinical activities and uphold high standards of anesthesia care
