Catering Manager

Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace is seeking an experienced Catering Manager for its very busy catering operations! This individual will lead our in-store Catering Team, plan unforgettable events, and ensure every catering experience exceeds our customers’ expectations.

Your Role:

1. Supervise all catering logistics and operations
2. Receive and confirm customer orders in person and by phone
3. Design event menus and coordinate with outside vendors for equipment, staff, and other resources
4. Process online orders and manage payment collection for events and deliveries
5. Schedule and coordinate catering pick-ups and deliveries
6. Assist with in-store demonstrations and event setups
7. Respond promptly to customer complaints to ensure satisfaction
8. Develop strong professional relationships with clients
9. Process weekly gratuities and maintain department records
10. Perform other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent
2. 3–4 years of experience in catering, event planning, or event management
3. Proficient with MS Office Suite and relevant software
4. Familiar with food and beverage cost controls
5. Highly organized, able to multitask, delegate, and work under pressure
6. Motivated, decisive, and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment
7. Fluent in English
8. Availability for extended hours, weekends, nights, and holidays during peak season

Working Conditions:

1. Active role requiring movement, bending, reaching, and lifting (up to 30 lbs; heavier items with assistance)
2. Indoor environment with temperature changes (freezers, ovens, coolers) and occasional loud equipment
3. Safe handling of cleaning agents, sharp objects, and industrial equipment
