Construction Safety ManagerLocation: Aberdeen, SDDuration: 12+ Months (Start: March 10, 2025)Type: 1099 ContractorAbout SheakleySince 1963, Sheakley has been a leader in safety management outsourcing. We are seeking an experienced Construction Safety Manager to oversee safety operations for our client in Aberdeen, SD. If you are a proactive problem-solver with a strong background in construction safety, this is an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact.Job DetailsHourly Rate: $58-$62/hr (based on experience and certifications)Per Diem: $125/day (7 days per week) if over 50 miles from project locationCompletion Bonus: $150/monthPay: WeeklySchedule:50+ hours - 5 10's, 1st shiftProject ScopeThe construction safety manager will oversee the installation of electrical contractors and electrical controls.QualificationsCandidates must have the following requirements:BCSP certification (STSC, CHST, or equivalent)NFPE 70ELOTO5+ years of experience as a construction safety manager with electrical safety experienceKey ResponsibilitiesConduct project safety inspections and employee orientationsProvide safety training as neededMonitor worksite employees and enforce safety protocolsReview and manage safety-related documentation and contractor correspondencePerform additional EHS-related tasks as requiredSkills & KnowledgeSkills:Excellent public speaking and communication abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Strong organizational and multitasking skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamOSHA outreach training experience (preferred)Professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive informationKnowledge:Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in constructionAbility to effectively communicate safety principles and regulationsEqual Opportunity EmployerSheakley is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all individuals, regardless of race, color, religion, age, sex, marital status, national origin, disability, or any other protected status.Ready to Make an Impact?
