Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Telemetry to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Provide care for neuro acute patients on a 48-bed unit, including 10 epilepsy specialty rooms.

Maintain a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio during day and night shifts.

Perform SIMs Lab skills such as Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes, ensuring sterile field maintenance.

Participate in educational training for lifts, restraints, and wound care.

Monitor and manage medications and treatments, particularly for epilepsy and neurovascular disorders.

Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, and families to provide comprehensive care.

Qualifications

Current registered nurse license, Arizona or compact state eligibility is required.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in MedSurg/Telemetry nursing.

BLS and ACLS certifications are required, BSN preferred.

Experience in a Level 1 trauma center is necessary.

Proven competence in dysrhythmia recognition, must pass an exam before assignment.

Strong critical thinking and assessment skills are essential for neuro patient management.
