Practice Manager

Practice Manager – Urgent Care We’re a physician‑led, patient‑centric network committed to simplifying health care and providing connected care across our urgent care sites in Woodbridge, East Brunswick, and Franklin Township, New Jersey. As Practice Manager you will oversee the administrative, financial, and operational aspects of multiple sites and mentor and train staff. Responsibilities Manage scheduling of site staff (supervisors, front desk, scribes, medical assistants, and X‑ray technologists) ensuring operational, PTO, and payroll hours. Co‑ordinate cleanliness, appearance, orderliness, and safety of the site in partnership with the Director of Operations. Monitor patient flow and registration, addressing delays and post‑discharge follow‑up. Open and close sites, manage daily front and back‑office operations, bank deposits, patient wait times, NPS, facilities management, and DOH compliance. Order supplies, test equipment, and conduct quality assurance. Report business metrics (wait times, provider patients per hour, NPS, reviews) and develop action plans to improve performance. Lead people management: coaching, evaluating, and developing staff performance; conduct formal reviews; handle employee relations and disciplinary actions. Build strong communication with clinicians and regional leadership. Ensure CityMD culture is observed, and close and open shifts as required. Qualifications 4‑6 years of management experience (urgent care, medical practice, hospital preference with multi‑site responsibility). Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field preferred; relevant experience accepted. Strong patient/customer service and multitasking skills. Knowledge of BLS certification required at hire. Computer skills (PC, Microsoft Office). Excellent communication, team collaboration, and leadership qualities. Basic life support (BLS) – required at time of hire. Bilingual ability a plus. Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $85,000 – $95,000 annually.
