CT Scan Technologist (Inpatient) - 13 Weeks Contract

Location: Reno, NV

Schedule: Friday to Sunday, 2 PM - 2:30 AM

Job Description: The CT Scan Technologist is responsible for producing diagnostic CT scans, assisting in CT scan procedures, and ensuring top-quality patient care. This role involves working under the supervision of the CT Supervisor and coordinating daily workflows while maintaining current certifications and compliance with department policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality diagnostic CT scans.
• Assist radiologists during diagnostic CT scan procedures.
• Ensure patient care while representing the organization's vision and mission.
• Perform quality control monitoring as specified in department policies.
• Administer IV contrast materials under radiologist direction.
• Coordinate daily workflow and assist in patient throughput for ER, in-patients, and outpatients.
• Operate sophisticated CT imaging equipment and maintain knowledge of departmental computer systems.
• Stay current with advancements in CT imaging practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of two years clinical experience in a CT imaging department.
• Experience in trauma imaging is required.
• American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT).
• State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography.
• Current CPR certification (AHA BLS) to be obtained within 60 days of hire.
