Key Elements of a Shift Manager day to day will consist of:

• Managing a staff of 4-12 including assigning and evaluating work
• Training Employees
• Open/Close when needed
• Assisting in the planning of special events and promotions in restaurant
• Coordinating any training needed to make events successful
• Assisting with product ordering, inventory and store organization.

As part of the Subway Team, you as an Assistant Manager will focus on seven main things:

• Controlling inventory
• Scheduling and supervising staff
• Maintaining standards of restaurant safety and security

PREREQUISITES Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable. Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday.
