EPO/CPO required. We’re seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to help maintain the safety, functionality, and overall physical integrity of our apartment community. This role ensures a high‐quality living environment for residents by proactively identifying issues, completing repairs, and overseeing maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee all maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, roofing, flooring, and general repairs.
• Complete service requests promptly and follow up to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Handle emergency on‐call maintenance and understand all utility shut‐offs and system operations.
• Prepare units for move‐in, including painting, repairs, cleaning coordination, and lock changes.
• Maintain common areas, pool/spa, fitness rooms, and community facilities.
• Track maintenance work, materials used, and daily service reports.
• Manage inventory, tools, and supplies with approval from the Property Manager.
• Coordinate with vendors only when necessary and approved.
• Support a safe, compliant environment following OSHA, ADA, Fair Housing, and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA and CPO certifications required.
• 3+ years of property maintenance or related experience; apartment maintenance preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building systems.
• Formal training in one or more trades (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.).
• Ability to lift/move heavy equipment and perform physical maintenance tasks.
• Strong problem‐solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
