Property Accountant

A growing real estate company is seeking an Accountant to join its accounting team in Chicago. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their career within commercial real estate while gaining exposure to a dynamic, collaborative environment. Responsibilities Assist with month-end close and general ledger activities Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports Support property-level accounting and reporting Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with internal controls Partner with property management and finance teams on various accounting initiatives Assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting required Approximately 1+ year of property accounting experience preferred Experience with Yardi is required Strong Excel and analytical skills Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills The company offers strong benefits, and a collaborative team environment with opportunities for long-term growth. $25 per day in grubhub credit, $100/month in gym membership credit #J-18808-Ljbffr Real Estate Firm
