Job Details Medical Assistant (Openings for Front & Back Office) Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm (40 hrs.) Location: Phoenix, AZ 85032 Other Open Locations: Glendale, Chandler, Sun City, Cottonwood, Prescott, Scottsdale, & Phoenix Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour. (depends on experience) Employment type: Direct hire. The Medical Assistant will play an important role in patient care coordination, clinical support, medical documentation, and administrative follow-through. Key Responsibilities Room patients, obtain vital signs, update medication lists, and prepare patients for provider visits. Administer injections, perform urine testing, collect specimens, and assist with anemia and iron management treatments. Maintain accurate EMR documentation, update patient charts, and ensure HIPAA-compliant medical records. Coordinate testing, procedures, blood pressure monitoring, patient recalls, follow-up care, and prescription refill requests. Communicate patient concerns, abnormal findings, and clinical updates to providers in a timely and professional manner. Support front office and clinic operations, including scheduling, no-show follow-up, supply monitoring, and floating to other clinic locations as needed.
