Warehouse Operations Supervisor - 3rd shift

Job Description Pitney Bowes is now hiring for a Warehouse Operations Supervisor in our Grand Prairie, TX presort facility. Salary: $60,000–$65,000 annually plus 6% field bonus. This is a 3rd‑shift position (Tuesday‑Saturday, Sundays as needed) from 12:00AM to 9:00AM. The role does not have a set amount of vacation per year. You Are As an Operations Supervisor you will work with the team to meet the company's productivity standards and requirements. You Will Under direction from the Operations Manager or Assistant Operations Manager, organize the mail flow on the production floor by assigning workers and assessing volumes and type of mail based on current staffing levels to meet postal deadlines. Oversee the production workers on the designated shift. Handle supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, training, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and solving problems. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. Oversee the quality function throughout the production area, ensuring TQM (Total Quality Management) processes and procedures are followed at all times. Assist the Operations Manager in completing required USPS and internal reports, job costing reports, and applying all USPS postal regulations. Ensure clear and concise communication of pertinent information between shifts. Offer suggestions regarding increasing efficiency of equipment use, working conditions, and motivation of employees. Perform other duties as assigned. Your Background Ability to work Tuesday‑Saturday (Sundays as needed) from 12:00am to 9:00am. Minimum one year supervisory experience in any one of the following areas with familiarity of USPS requirements and/or regulations: presort, mailroom, or associated industries. Minimum two years of progressively responsible experience in a production or mailing industry environment. Strong knowledge of MS Excel and/or MS Access, along with basic knowledge of MS Word, internet, and email. Ability to lift up to 50lbs, or the current maximum allowed by your State. Walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodation. Willingness and ability to work as needed, including weekends, holidays, days off, and/or a different shift with limited or no advance notice. For completing this work, Presort Services receives discounted postage rates. By performing this sorting work on behalf of our clients, we share a portion of that discount with them.
