- Oversee daily plant operations to ensure efficient and safe production
- Direct production activities to meet goals for output, quality, delivery, and cost
- Supervise department supervisors and employees, including scheduling, performance management, and employee development
- Coordinate foundry operations including molding, core making, melting/pouring, finishing, and machining
- Enforce standardized work procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements
- Monitor production processes and take initiative to resolve issues and improve efficiency
- Operate or oversee equipment including overhead cranes, forklifts, dollies, furnaces, and conveyor systems
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Foundry experience preferred; steel industry experience a plus
- Pattern-making knowledge or experience preferred
- Strong focus on quality and attention to detail
- Excellent time-management and problem-solving skills
- Takes initiative and works well in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, approachable, and hardworking
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work around heavy industrial equipment
