Immediate need for a talented Medicare Benefits Advisor. This is a 03 - 04+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Denver, CO (Remote). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $37/hr - $40/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities

• Partially remote with in-person attendance required for seminars.
• Schedules will be shared one week in advance.
• 10-15 calls per day to assist members with questions.
• Not a sales role, more of a marketing support function, assisting the sales team.
• The primary focus is supporting the sales team by explaining health plan options to members, but there is no "closing deals" or selling involved.
• Assist at sales seminars to educate and inform prospective and existing members about Client's health plan options.
• Provide accurate information on benefits and pricing, assisting members in understanding their health insurance options.
• Support the sales executives in the field, but the candidate will not be responsible for making sales.
• The Seasonal Sr. Sales Associate primarily supports our sales force during one of our heaviest seasons of business (September through December).
• Each fall, we conduct open enrollment meetings where we meet with beneficiaries to explain their health benefit choices.
• The temporary on-call sales staff would assist the full time sales team onsite at seminars and events.
• We are looking for individuals who are comfortable in front of groups and answering questions about health insurance.
• The majority of the meetings are 3 hours a day.
• We're looking for seasoned sales and marketing staff that are willing to work flexible hours to support the annual effort.
• Health care experience or demonstrated knowledge is a plus. New on-call sales staff will go through training before shadowing Sales Executives out in the field. Reliable transportation is a must.
• Travel is involved, primarily to support seminars in the service areas. Locations include: Metropolitan areas.
• Reliable transportation is required, with mileage reimbursement at the national IRS rate.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience

• In-person communication skills: Comfort in presenting to groups.
• Phone communication skills: Ability to assist members effectively over the phone.
• Flexibility: Adaptability to changing schedules and responsibilities.
• High School Diploma required.
• 2 years of experience in healthcare or a similar background is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (MS Word, Excel, etc.) is necessary.
• Sales background is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills are essential, with an emphasis on asking questions to provide effective support.
• Flexibility to handle both in-person and phone communication.
