Surgical Tech II

We are seeking a Surgical Technician to assist in the operating room environment under supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or Physician. This role involves preparing for patient procedures, ensuring equipment and instrumentation are functioning properly, and maintaining a sterile environment. Assist with surgical prep, arrange supplies for efficiency. Ensure proper functioning of instruments and equipment during procedures. Maintain aseptic techniques, label and dispatch solutions and medications as per policies. Participate in specimen handling, procedural counts, and equipment preparation. Attend meetings, follow safety protocols, and perform duties to ensure optimal patient care and safety. Qualifications Include High School Diploma or GED, completion of an accredited Surgical Technician program. Certification by The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or the National Center for Competency Testing, or military/public health program (one required). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days. Preferred experience: One year as a Surgical Technician. #J-18808-Ljbffr Azza HealthCare Agency
