Dual Manager – Retail Sales & Store Operations

Elmwood, LA (with regular travel to East Baton Rouge) | Full-Time | $60,000/year (base salary + uncapped performance bonus)

Job Overview

We're hiring a Business Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations and inside sales across two locations, based primarily out of our New Orleans store. This is a hands-on, multi-site leadership role — along with the owner, you'll set consistent standards across both locations, manage budgets and purchasing, lead sales teams at each site to ensure both operations run smoothly. Ideal for someone who wants ownership over multiple teams and P&Ls, with real earning upside tied to performance.

Compensation & Training

• Compensation: Base salary of $60,000 annually, plus unlimited performance bonuses
• Bonus available after training whenever the team approaches and beats national performance averages
• 8-week paid training program covering materials/metal, purchasing, and internal systems
• Mileage/travel reimbursement for regular trips between locations

Key Responsibilities

Multi-Site Sales & Team Leadership

• Provide consistent operational and sales leadership across both locations, with a home base in New Orleans
• Visit the Baton Rouge location to maintain hands-on oversight, coach on-site staff, and ensure standards stay aligned across both stores.
• Serve as the primary point of accountability for performance, staffing, and operations at both sites.
• Own an inside sales pipeline: engage customers, identify needs, and close deals
• Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team toward monthly/quarterly targets
• Software and phones are all cloud based for easy remote assistance.

Operations & Financial Management

• Manage department budget and purchasing to control costs and optimize inventory
• Maintain accurate, detail-level data entry and recordkeeping
• Build and refine operating processes to improve efficiency as the business grows
• Coordinate task management across the team to keep orders and projects on deadline

Facility & Equipment

• Maintain a clean, organized, safety-compliant workshop/warehouse
• Monitor equipment and machinery for safe, optimal operation

Requirements

• Proven experience in inside sales or a customer-facing sales role (ensure your resume and cover letter highlight relevant experience)
• Prior budget management and purchasing experience
• Demonstrated people-management experience (leading/motivating a sales team)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in data entry and process compliance
• Comfortable with fast, accurate computer/data entry
• Hands-on experience with power tools, forklifts, or warehouse equipment
• Solid math skills, including fractions and basic geometry
• Valid Louisiana Class D Driver's License with a clean record
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Adaptable and proactive in a fast-changing environment
