Overview The Grants & Development Administrator at Norris, Inc. supports the organization's mission to Transform lives through the power of connection and healing. This role helps maintain and grow a diversified revenue base and meaningful donor relations to enable Norris to fulfill its mission. The Grants & Development Administrator will research, prepare, write, organize, submit, and monitor grant applications, ensuring materials meet guidelines and Norris's strategic priorities. This position also includes organizational marketing and branding efforts and collaboration with internal staff and external partners to ensure timely completion of grant-related materials. In addition to grant writing, the role focuses on other resource development activities, including donor development, community engagement, and fundraising. The administrator will create narratives, gather data, and refine applications to align with funding priorities, and will work with executive officers, the finance team, and Board & staff leadership to develop proposals and coordinate data and statistics. The position may require a flexible schedule, including weekends and/or holidays, to meet organizational needs. Responsibilities Research, support the preparation, write, organize, submit, and monitor grant applications to align with Norris's priorities. Collaborate with internal staff and external partners to ensure accurate and timely grant-related materials. Engage in organizational marketing and branding efforts in support of Norris’s mission. Conduct donor development, community engagement, and fundraising activities beyond grant writing. Create creative narratives, gather data, and refine applications to improve funding outcomes. Coordinate with executive officers, the finance team, and Board & staff leadership to develop proposals and gather statistics. Maintain relationships with funders and stakeholders to support ongoing funding. Meet the expectation of a specified number of written grants per year. Qualifications/Requirements Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed to support the organization. Commitment to a trauma-informed care approach and sensitivity to the ethnic and cultural diversity of youth, families, and employees. Strong writing, research, and data-gathering skills to develop compelling grant proposals. Ability to collaborate with various departments, executives, and external partners.
