The sky is your limit Salary Range: $135,000-$140,000 USD per annum Job Description Reporting to the Director ofRooms, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Consistently offer professional,friendlyand engaging service Follow departmental policies,proceduresand servicestandards consistentlyoffering professional,engagingand friendly service. Ensuring the highest degree of cleanliness and maintenancein accordance withFairmont Hotels & Resorts standards,policiesand procedures. Creating an environment wherein continuous improvements are made in the areas of GOP, EES, VOG, and LQA Effectively and accurately managing payroll and departmental expenses ofHousekeepingdepartment, within budgeted and forecasted guidelines. Developing and executing, in conjunction with the Executive Committee, any capital projects related to guest rooms and public areas. Actively engage with local laundry partners and consistently source new business opportunities Overseeing all recruitment processes, and developing departmental succession plans Effectively manage allcolleaguesrelationships within the department Maintaining an environment that promotes the health, wellness and safety of both colleagues and guests Maintaining an active Preventative Maintenance program in conjunction with the Director, Engineering Ensuring high colleague engagement through recognition and removal ofidentifiedbarriers Overseeing the Housekeeping Management to maximize leadershipsynergy Liaising with all Hotel departments asrequired Activelyparticipatingas a member of hotel committees asrequired Ensuring existing environmental initiatives are adhered to, and new and innovative environmental opportunities are implemented Other duties as assigned Qualifications PreviousSenior Housekeeping Leadershipexperience, 2-3 years within a similar establishmentisrequired Proven leadership,developerand delegation skills with an ability to lead medium-size team of 30-45colleagues toachieve the departmental goals Strong organizational and administration skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work in a fast paced, diverse environment University degree or Hotel Management Diploma preferred Knowledge of the Property Manager System / Opera Excellent problem solver and decision maker Physical and operational demands: Mobility: Moving between guestrooms, public areas, and service zones to inspect cleanliness and address issues Hands‑on oversight: Occasionallyassistingwith cleaning tasks ordemonstratingprocedures to staff Standing and walking for extended periods during inspections, meetings, and guest interactions Lifting and carrying light to moderate items up to 60 pounds (e.g., cleaning supplies, linens) when necessary Working irregular hours including weekends, holidays, and early mornings, which can affect physical stamina Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
