Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU - Travel

• Monitor and care for cardiac patients, including post-cath, TAVR, and mitral clip procedures
• Manage patient turnover efficiently in a fast-paced recovery environment
• Conduct essential skills such as sheath pulls, chest tube management, and administration of cardiac drips
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements of the RN - PCU - Travel

• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 1 year of PCU experience
• Competency in sheath pulls, cardiac cath procedures, and tube feed management
• Ability to work collaboratively with a support team including PCA/CNA, charge nurse, and telemetry tech
