Member Care Advocate

To support a growing mission in healthcare, the part-time contract Member Care Advocate will provide empathetic support to members navigating their benefits and care options while working remotely in a high-volume environment. Key responsibilities Provide member-centered support through inbound calls and chats, ensuring clear communication and understanding of healthcare benefits Resolve core member issues by explaining benefits coverage, confirming in-network providers, and guiding members through available programs Document interactions accurately and leverage tools to research questions, ensuring continuity of care and meeting quality audit expectations Required qualifications Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of customer service or healthcare experience, or 5 years of relevant experience in healthcare or benefits navigation Experience handling high volumes of inbound calls using VoIP phone systems Strong familiarity with Google Workspace, Apple products, and CRM software Demonstrated ability to think critically within defined workflows and maintain member confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines Ability to work from a secure, distraction-free home office with reliable internet Virtual Vocations Inc
