General Manager | Fine Dining Restaurant Detroit, Michigan – Full Time $100,000 Base Salary + Performance Bonus Lead One of Detroit's Premier Fine Dining Destinations We are seeking an exceptional General Manager to lead operations at one of Detroit's most distinguished upscale/fine dining restaurants. Offering a $100,000 base salary plus performance-based bonus, this role is ideal for an accomplished hospitality leader who thrives on delivering extraordinary guest experiences, developing high‑performing teams, and driving operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a passionate leader with a proven track record in fine dining, luxury hospitality, or chef‑driven restaurant concepts. You will oversee all front‑of‑house operations, foster a culture of excellence, and ensure every guest interaction reflects our commitment to world‑class hospitality. What You'll Do Lead all daily restaurant operations with a relentless focus on hospitality and service excellence Recruit, train, coach, and develop a best-in-class front-of-house team Create a culture of accountability, professionalism, and guest-first thinking Partner closely with the Executive Chef and culinary leadership team to deliver exceptional dining experiences Drive financial performance through labor management, cost controls, and revenue optimization Monitor key performance indicators and implement strategies to improve profitability and guest satisfaction Maintain the highest standards of food quality, service execution, cleanliness, and compliance Build and maintain relationships with VIP guests and community partners Support private events, wine dinners, and special programming that elevate the guest experience Qualifications 5+ years of General Manager or senior leadership experience in fine dining, upscale dining, luxury hospitality, or chef-driven concepts Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and deliver exceptional guest experiences Strong financial acumen, including P&L management, labor controls, and budgeting Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills Hands‑on management style with a passion for hospitality and team development Experience with wine programs, elevated service standards, and luxury guest expectations is highly preferred Compensation & Benefits $100,000 annual base salary Performance-based bonus opportunity Health benefits Paid time off Dining privileges Professional growth and advancement opportunities Opportunity to lead a respected and growing hospitality brand in Detroit Who You Are You lead from the floor, set the standard for hospitality excellence, and inspire teams to perform at their highest level.
