Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our team at our Residential Treatment Center in Hollywood, FL. Our residential level of care provides 24/7 structured, live-in treatment for adults experiencing mental health and substance use disorders. Patients receive intensive clinical support in a safe, therapeutic environment designed to promote stability, recovery, and long-term success. Key Responsibilities Provide direct care, supervision, and support to patients in a residential setting Monitor and document patient behaviors and progress Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans Utilize de‑escalation techniques and crisis intervention when necessary Build positive, therapeutic relationships with patients and team members Maintain a safe and structured environment for all patients Act as a liaison between patients and the clinical team Participate actively as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team Model appropriate professional behavior and maintain healthy boundaries Support a positive peer culture through reinforcement and engagement Qualifications Experience working with the mental health and/or substance use population required Must have a valid and clear driver’s license Must be able to pass a Level II Background Screening Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and professional in high‑stress situations Schedule Requirements 12‑hour shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Weekend availability required #J-18808-Ljbffr Compassion Behavioral Health
