Senior Manufacturing EngineeringSenior Manufacturing Engineer 12 month contract Must be able to work on a W2 Hybrid 4x per week in Mahwah, NJ Summary Our client, engaged in manufacturing within the life sciences industry, has engaged GForce Life Sciences to provide a Senior Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering – Individual Contributor. This position will support capital and manufacturing projects, ensuring successful implementation from planning through production release. Duties / Expectations of RoleLead engineering implementation activities for capital and manufacturing projects, including equipment installation, qualification, and release.Coordinate technical integration across automation, equipment, manufacturing, quality, and facilities teams.Support project execution by tracking action items, maintaining documentation, and assisting with validation activities.Collaborate with Project Managers, Equipment SMEs, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver reliable manufacturing solutions.Assist in equipment installation, FAT/SAT, and resolving technical issues with engineering teams and suppliers.Spent time both in the office and on the manufacturing floor to support project lifecycle and ownership of project tasks.Mandatory RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Biomedical, or related engineering discipline.2-4 years of engineering experience, including internships or co-op experience.Strong communication and organizational skills.Technical aptitude and willingness to learn project management, manufacturing processes, and capital equipment implementation.Nice to HaveInternship or co-op experience in manufacturing, engineering, or project-based work.Exposure to manufacturing processes, automation, or robotics.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement principles.Experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, or other project management tools.Medical Device experience.Certifications such as PMP or Lean Six Sigma are a plus but not required.
