A well-respected law firm is seeking a Legal Practice Assistant to provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys across multiple practice areas. While this position sits within the Tax Litigation group, the role functions primarily as a shared resource, assisting various attorneys with overflow work and supporting a broad range of litigation matters.

This opportunity is ideal for a candidate with approximately 3+ years of litigation experience who enjoys the administrative side of legal support, takes pride in producing high-quality work, and brings a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, revise, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and other client-related materials.
• Assist with state and federal court filings, including e-filing procedures.
• Manage attorney calendars, scheduling, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination.
• Support litigation matters through document management, case organization, and trial preparation assistance.
• Maintain client files, track deadlines, and assist with time entry and billing-related tasks.
• Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, court personnel, and vendors while maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Provide overflow and administrative support to attorneys across various practice groups as needed.

Qualifications:

• Approximately 3+ years of law firm experience, preferably supporting litigation attorneys.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to assist wherever needed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with legal software platforms is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
