Senior Program Manager

Position SummaryOdyssey has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Acquisition Program Management Professional supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Disruptive Futures Division (AFLCMC/EBZ) at Eglin AFB, Florida. This position provides acquisition and program management support across the full life cycle of air armament and conventional munitions systems, enabling rapid, data-driven decision making in support of mission-critical programs. Our Program Managers support the government with planning, researching, analyzing and assessing the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of weapons systems and associated equipment acquisitions (development, production and deployment), and formulate plans and recommend strategies to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives. ResponsibilitiesDuties may include, but are not limited to:Provide acquisition program management support across all phases of the DoD acquisition lifecycle (Materiel Solution Analysis through Operations & Support)Advise Government Program Managers on program execution, acquisition strategy, and risk managementDevelop, review, and coordinate acquisition documentation such as:Acquisition Strategy (AS)Systems Engineering Plan (SEP)Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP)Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP)Statement of Work (SOW), Statement of Objectives (SOO), and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs)Monitor and evaluate program cost, schedule, and performance using metrics and Earned Value Management (EVM)Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks; maintain and manage risk registersLead or support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), milestone reviews, and technical reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR)Support source selection activities, including proposal evaluation and contract modificationsCoordinate across engineering, logistics, test, and financial stakeholders to ensure integrated program executionPrepare and deliver briefings, status reports, and decision support materials to senior leadershipSupport Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and international armaments cooperation efforts, as applicableQualificationsMinimum Required Qualifications:Citizenship: Must be a US CitizenClearance: Current Top SecretEducation and experience:Bachelor’s degree and 25 years of relevant experience; OR Master’s degree and 15 years of relevant experienceProgram management experience preferably within a DoD acquisition or other regulated environment Preferred QualificationsPMP (Project Management ProfessionalDAWIA Level II or III in Program Management or equivalentExperience supporting AFLCMC, SAF/AQ, or equivalent Air Force acquisition organizationsExperience with armament systems (air-to-air, air-to-surface munitions, missiles, or related systems)Experience supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programsStrong knowledge of DoD acquisition lifecycle processes and DoDI 5000 seriesExperience developing and reviewing acquisition documentation (AS, SEP, TEMP, LCSP, etc.)Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis and reportingExperience with risk management and mitigation planningFamiliarity with scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)Understanding of requirements development and JCIDS processes (ICD, CDD, CPD)Additionally, the successful candidate will demonstrate the following:Ability to operate independently as a senior adviser to government leadershipStrong leadership and team coordination across cross-functional environmentsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environmentStrategic thinking and complex problem-solving abilitiesAdditional InformationLocation: Eglin AFB, FLTravel: Travel may be required per the customer's discretion.Work Environment: Onsite9/80 work schedule option may be available#LI-MB1Company OverviewOdyssey is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
