Health Partner (Boston)

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Health & Benefits Consulting team at Mercer. This role will be based in New York, Norwalk, or Boston. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex client engagements and develop sophisticated benefits design and renewal strategies.
• Drive the development of tools and solutions to address complex client issues.
• Monitor project success in terms of scope, budget, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
• Be accountable for revenue and profitability for client accounts and projects.
• Set strategic direction and create demand for new products and services in the marketplace.
• Lead successful regional or national marketing initiatives.
• Build market presence by leading and presenting at industry seminars and conferences.
• Leverage the company’s size and reputation to negotiate highly competitive rates and coverage options from carriers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of initiating new opportunities and winning new business in health and benefits consulting.
• Strong expertise in benefits design, renewal strategies, and client engagement management.
• Experience managing project scope, budget, and client satisfaction.
• Ability to lead strategic marketing initiatives and build market presence.

Salary & Benefits

The applicable base salary range for this role is $212,000 to $318,000. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance‑based incentives. We offer a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, tuition assistance, 401(k) savings, and other retirement programs as well as employee assistance programs.
