Overview
Registered Nurse - NICU (Travel) in Everett, Washington. This assignment is for a Level II NICU caring for neonates 22 weeks gestation and greater. Start date: 06/29/2026 for a several-week assignment on a 3x12-hour night shift. Weekly pay range: $1,762-$1,878 per week. No guaranteed hours. The role is in a hospital setting with comprehensive maternity services. Orientation is provided, and travel support is available. Clinicians may float to related maternity units as needed.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to neonates on a Level II NICU unit, typically at a 3:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Manage neonatal ventilation and noninvasive respiratory support (CPAP/BiPAP, HFNC, oscillators) and monitor respiratory status
- Care for lines and tubes (umbilical arterial/venous lines, arterial/central lines) and support feeding (bottle, gavage, breast milk) as ordered
- Administer medications and therapies (including surfactant, steroids as ordered) and support NAS care; assist with ROP exam processes as needed
- Document in the electronic medical record (EPIC), participate in interdisciplinary rounds, and collaborate with PT, Respiratory, Radiology, Social Work, Pharmacy, and unit staff
- Adhere to unit protocols, participate in holiday scheduling, and float to related maternity/postpartum units as required

Requirements
- Active WA RN license or Compact RN eligibility (WA license in-hand preferred for RN roles)
- Minimum 2 years of Level III NICU experience; first-time travelers accepted
- BLS (BCLS) and NRP certifications
- Proficiency in neonatal ventilator management and noninvasive support; UAC/UVC care; arterial/central line care; feeding support; NAS care; ROP exam support
- Ability to work in a Level II NICU with 3:1 patient-to-nurse ratios; willingness to float to related maternity units; holiday coverage as required
- Compliance requirements: background/Nursys verification; ability to obtain facility credentialing; RTO submission per client guidance; 12-hour orientation provided
