Material Planner

Material Planner - OnsiteFranklin, TNThe Material Planner will be responsible for the execution of the regional Raw & Packaging Material planning processes. As a passionate and skilled professional bringing in-depth functional knowledge and best practice, they will focus on developing accurate plans for a set of materials to ensure inbound material supply sufficiency and cost/cash optimization over the short-term planning horizon.What Are We Looking For?MinimumBachelor's degree and/or 4+ years Supply Chain work experience1+ years of experience in Planning (Materials, Supply, Demand, etc.), Inbound Logistics, or Purchasing/ProcurementAbility to work flexible hours as needed (outside of working hours, generally 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM)PreferredExperience using SAP and Advanced Planning SystemsBachelor's Degree within Supply Chain2+ years experience in planning inbound raw and packaging with CPG companyWhat Will Be Your Key Responsibilities?Material supply continuity and sufficiency to manufacturing sites:Create raw and pack material Purchase Orders per system-generated Purchase RequisitionsCollaborate with suppliers to ensure PO dates & information is always confirmed and accurate in our systemsAction system-generated exception messages to manage site production needs and raw/pack material inventoryDrive efficient enterprise risk awareness & management through effective storytelling via aligned escalation paths & forumsOwn material planning KPI calculation and Improvement plans specific to assigned site(s)Maintain strong partnership with supported manufacturing site(s) and create/action E2E Planning continuous improvement opportunitiesManage raw and pack material planning parameters:Ensure consistent 100% accuracy of SAP raw & pack material planning parameters, in alignment with supplier SLAs and internal process requirementsProvide feedback loop into SLA process for parameter adjustments that may need to be updated off-cadenceManage raw and pack material inventory, including safety stock levels, to optimize for service and costMonitor and action materials inventory health and sufficiency per designated targetsDefine and action materials inventory improvement plansWhat Can You Expect From Mars?Work with diverse and talented Associates, all guided by the Five Principles.Join a purpose driven company, where we're striving to build the world we want tomorrow, today.Best-in-class learning and development support from day one, including access to our in-house Mars University.An industry competitive salary and benefits package, including company bonus.
