JOB SUMMARY As a Merchandising Coordinator at IndiMade Brands, you will play a key supporting role in bringing products to market and keeping our eCommerce catalogs running smoothly across three brands. Working closely with the Senior Merchant and cross‑functional teams, you will contribute to product setup, data integrity, assortment planning, and merchandising operations in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment. This role is a great fit for someone early in their merchandising or eCommerce career who is curious, highly organized, and eager to develop hands‑on skills across buying, product development, and digital retail operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Primary duties and accountabilities for this role include: Support the Senior Merchant and merchandising team across multiple product categories and three brands. Create and maintain SKUs in NetSuite, ensuring product information, pricing, imagery, and categorization are accurate and up to date. Manage product setup, merchandising updates, promotions, and ongoing site maintenance within Shopify. Assist with product assortment planning, product launches, and seasonal merchandising initiatives. Support product development efforts through market research, trend analysis, vendor communication, and competitive analysis. Support campaign planning and ideation by conducting trend research, gathering inspiration, and creating presentation materials for upcoming product launches and seasonal initiatives. Reporting, Projects & Cross‑Functional Coordination Assist the merchandising team in pulling sales analysis reports, ad hoc reporting, and cross‑category business reporting. Own merchandising project tracking and task management within Asana, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and cross‑functional dependencies remain organized and on track. Work cross‑functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Operations teams to support merchandising strategies and execute business initiatives. Partner with Marketing to support product launch planning, photography needs, and content readiness for new and existing products. Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to support merchandising and pricing decisions. Sample & Asset Management Own the organization and management of product samples across the office, ensuring samples are properly tracked, stored, and available for business needs. Coordinate product samples for testing and evaluation in partnership with the Product Development team. Partner with Marketing to manage sample needs for product photography, launch assets, reshoots, and other content creation initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. Experience 1–2 years of retail, merchandising, eCommerce, or administrative experience preferred; recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong Excel skills with the ability to organize, analyze, and interpret data. Experience with Shopify, NetSuite, Asana, Tableau, or other ERP/project management platforms is a plus. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail. Self‑starter with strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to learn quickly. High level of curiosity, eagerness to learn, and willingness to support a fast‑paced, growing team. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally. Interest in fragrance, crafting, and/or the maker community is a plus.
