Position Title Security Officer - Overnight Residential Patrol Driver Location San Diego, CA Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $20.60 / Hour Job Schedule Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property contacts when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter access points. Monitor entry and exit activity, observe for unusual conditions, and report maintenance, lighting, and/or property-related concerns to appropriate contacts. Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and supporting access control and community rules at the location. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
