Betsy Ross Nursing & Rehab Center is a 120-bed facility offering excellence in rehabilitation and skilled nursing care in a lovely homelike environment undergoing that recently underwent a large scale RENOVATION and is UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION! With a focus on rehabilitation and recovery, our skilled team of therapists and healthcare professionals assist residents in achieving optimal health and well-being. Our mission is to provide high quality care to all with respect and compassion through a team approach that focuses on personalized goals. \n \n \nThe role of the Dietary Aide/Food Service Worker is to provide our residents with all of their meals and/or snacks in a sanitary and safe manner adhering to all policies and procedures of the facility while focusing on customer service and satisfaction. The role of the Dietary Aide (Food Service) is:\n \n Dietary Aide/Food Service Worker must be reliable and dedicated to providing excellent meal service to our residents \n Dietary Aide/Food Service Worker responsibilities include but are not limited to: Prepare food, serve residents, clean up after meals, and washing dishes \n Proper in kitchen preparation and cleaning in regards to the station assigned \n Prepare cold and hot food and beverage items in accordance to diets and recipes \n Dietary Aide/Food Service Worker will assemble trays according to prescribed diets and serve resident tray line and main dining room \n Take inventory and deliver prepared nourishments to nursing unit pantries at designated times for residents' use \n Handling of food in a safe manner \n Deliver and retrieve food carts to all nursing units during meal service \n Requirements: \n \n Some high school education \n Experience working in a kitchen in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required \n Excellent customer service skills \n Work well under pressure & willing to work harmoniously with all staff \n Must have a working knowledge of food service techniques and sanitation \n Ability to follow written and verbal instructions required \n Covid-19 vaccinations are encouraged but NOT MANDATED ; we continue to offer COVID-19 vaccination based on eligibility guidance from CDC \n We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, celebrate diversity, & are committed to creating an inclusive work environment for all!
